Great to meet today with Foreign Minister Cho of the Republic of Korea. We discussed North Korea’s recent provocations including its troubling ties with Russia, the ironclad U.S. commitment to the ROK, and progress in our historic trilateral partnership with Japan.

This package announced by the U.S. and its G7 partners will help unlock $50 billion backed by the proceeds of frozen Russian assets to assist Ukraine without burdening U.S. taxpayers. More proof of enduring commitment to support Ukraine.

I met today with Oleksandra Matviichuk, whose vital work has shined a light on the brutality of Russia’s war against Ukraine. @VP has clearly stated that Russia’s war crimes represent “an attack on our common humanity.” Her support for the people of Ukraine is unwavering.
