This was made in Unity. When we moved away from the side-scroller concept we also made the move to Unreal.

Originally Sparrow was envisioned as a side-scroller but we felt very limited in terms of gameplay so we quickly switched to full 3d navigation. Here’s a bad cell phone video of the original prototype from 2021:

We just pushed out an update for the Sparrow Demo! In addition to some performance updates we've made majors changes to the flying mechanic. It should be easier to turn midair and navigate the environment.
