Symbols and how they are perceived by various groups is wildly misunderstood! Major marketing reset needed as road markings are one of the bike worlds major public statements!
That symbol is NOT a #sharrow! It’s a #FietsStraat, or bike priority street, where cars are permitted but are “invited guests” that must behave well by following slowly behind & not crowding bikes. Seen here on my #Ghent bike tour with leaders but also common in the Netherlands.
