A Cuppa with a Copper and a Councillor will be held TONIGHT at 4:30pm at Trimdon Station Community Centre on Station Road East, Trimdon Station. If you have any issues or concerns in relation to police issues, council issues or parish council issues please come and join us.

NPT along with partner agencies will be conducting patrols throughout the area to make sure everyone is safe and also enjoying themselves. We have free bottled water in our community safety van which will be located opposite East Durham College. Feel free to come and say hello!

Youngsters from Wheatley Hill Primary School have been on the lookout for speeding motorists today. All the motorists driving along on Wordsworth Avenue were found to be driving within the speed limit. The children were accompanied by PCSO Sarah Kinghorn and PC Gavin Rutter.

Peterlee NPT have been conducting patrols in Wingate and Trimdon due to information received in the local community. 2 vehicles have been seized and 1 male reported for driving offences. Any info please contact Peterlee NPT on 101.

There have been a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Peterlee area in recent weeks. If you see anything suspicious or anyone acting suspiciously,even around vehicles call 101. Please be vigilant and keep your doors locked, look out for you and your neighbours.

PCSO's Amanda and Kelly were assisting Durham Works in Peterlee Town Centre today. DurhamWorks is a partnership project between Durham County Council and other organisations working together to support young people who are not in education, employment or training.

Multi-agency Day of Action took place in Trimdon.Speedwatch with Deaf Hill Primary School,with no speeders! Officers looked at speeding on Wingate Road tickets were issued to motorists . An abandoned vehicle was seized. Community meetings were held, walkabouts were also conducted
