The engine was later sent to the Salem & Hillsborough Railroad in New Brunswick, where it would be extensively damaged by fire in 1994. After the S&H fire, CP cosmetically restored No. 29 in Winnipeg and then moved it to Calgary for display at its corporate headquarters. 3/3

On this day in 1812, the Battle of Queenston Heights was fought. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the British and Canadian troops, along with their Mohawk allies, defeated the American invaders. Major General Isaac Brock was killed in the battle.
