As Inspectors, we do work weekends to monitor things. Yesterday, it was a trip to York and back on the footplate with two different steam charters. These inspections allow us to cover a wide range of topics and compliance with the law. @railandroad

On Wednesday, I carried out an inspection for @railandroad on Locomotion No 1 at Shildon Railway museum in preparation for the @railway200 event at the end of this month. Whilst changing trains at Darlington, I also came across the Rail 200 demonstration train and had a visit.

Out today for @railandroad with the Rail Operations Group with their new class 93 locomotive on a test run. This is a far cry from the old types of traction that I used to drive!
