These 'Beach Animals' were created by Theo Jansen as a fusion of art and engineering. The kinetic structures walk on their own and get all their energy from the wind. https://t.co/1m2JvPXUSB

@matoxley Mat & Peter @PeterBom4 really enjoyed the Maverick section. Also I'm starting to think when you guys wander "off script" it makes for the best listening. Fine work, as ever.

Thats my understanding too. And in the chosen frequentie, these forces counteract the movements, effectively minmising them.
@Barbter1 @PeterBom4 @GresiniRacing @matoxley @MotoGP If I understand correctly, the mass that acts like a dampener is suspended in the spring. And it counteracts whatever the subframe/seat unit is doing. So seat goes down, the mass in the dampener moves upward, counteracting with its weight. Seat unit goes up, the mass goes down.

Seen at the Valencia test: Current @MotoGP bikes have a very, very thin upper tripple clamp. Here is Honda's (yellow). Green is an accleration sensor that they use to measure shocks and vibrations that are not absorbed by the fork's suspension. @matoxley @HRC_MotoGP
