Remember, you can never have enough books about motorcycle racing! This is my book about the amazing true story of skint, plucky Brit Eric Crudgington Fernihough & his remarkable fight for the motorcycle land-speed with fascist backed BMW & Gilera✊
It's so sad that Quartararo felt he had to delete this tweet following abuse from Neanderthals. What is wrong with people? Where is the love and respect for a fellow human being, especially a remarkably talented man who brightens our lives with his MotoGP heroics?
Amidst all the inevitable opprobrium being, rightly or wrongly, heaped upon Taka,we should perhaps take a moment to reflect on the fact that the dude head-butted a Ducati rear wheel in a MotoGP Race and lived to tell the tale.
Anybody tweeting stupid shit about Marc Marquez this morning can fuck off. If you want to feel like he feels now, get into your leathers and lid, climb on the roof of a mate's car, let him or her to get up to 100mph & jump off. (On second thoughts, don't, but you get my point.)
Danilo Petrucci will ride his last MotoGP race on Sunday, take a short holiday, then start training for his first Dakar in January! I will miss him because there are few MotoGP riders who are as willing & able to explain things - technically & emotionally - as him. Good luck!😎✊
MotoGP really needs to do something, like most other sports, to say racism, sexism, homophobia will not be tolerated. And not only because it wants to attract new - younger - fans and therefore it needs to be more enlightened. I’ve been in the paddock 36 years & NOT ONE gay…
When a MotoGP rider uses a gay slur the paddock rushes to defend him, when a MotoGP rider receives homophobic abuse, the paddock stays silent. It's time MotoGP became a more enlightened, welcoming place
Rossi’s media debrief was rammed today. For obvious reasons. Which I why I made sure I got in the first question: “Can you tell us about how the carbon swingarm changes feel, grip & tyre life?” Cue 50 angry journos going: what the fuck did he ask that for?! 😂😂😂😂
Belgian mechanic Bernard Ansiau has now won MotoGP/500cc world championships with Wayne Rainey, Mick Doohan, Valentino Rossi and Fabio Quartararo. That's a total of 16 MotoGP/500cc titles🤯🤯🤯🤯😎😎😎😎
Keep Jorge Navarro in your thoughts today. He broke a femur in Sunday’s Moto2 race & was bleeding profusely, possibly having severed his femoral artery, which can cause death in minutes if not stemmed. He's recovering in hospital. Yet another run-over-by-the-rider-behind accident
This week’s

blog: When a MotoGP manufacturer’s PR team bullies me, tries to stop me from doing my job and tries to control what colleagues write, I get a wee bit angry
This is what’s super-cool about
@fosgoodwood
😎 waiting for the MotoGP run up the hill, while F1 cars come past to take their place in the queue 😀😀😀😀😍😍😍😍😍
Funniest moment of the weekend was after the GP when Pramac (understandably) shut their garage door. Therefore the TV director switched to Martin’s seat cam. One of the mechanics couldn’t understand how they were still on TV with the garage door closed 😅
Seems Bagnaia has nothing broken which is wonderful. Binder visited him in the medical centre and said: “I didn’t expect to find him chilling!”. No word about Misano but with no broken bones you’d assume he’ll have a go at least
Hi
@AggregateUK
Since you've threatened me with legal action for doing my job at the Silverstone MotoGP round, I'd like to help you with your job of undertaking a review of your work. I've collated comments from riders, teams & MotoGP management in the hope they will be of use
A very tearful goodbye to Suzuki PR guys Federico Tondelli and Alberto Gomez, two of the very best in the MotoGP paddock. Neither has a job for 2023, so someone please GIVE THEM A JOB!!! 💪💪💪
Victor Steeman has died following his Portimao crash. All thoughts with his loved ones. However, something needs to change in WSSP300/Moto3. That's 4 deaths in Dorna WSSP300/Moto3 events in 16 months, which is unacceptable. And more are inevitable under the current rules

MotoGP has been getting more & more dangerous in the last few years due to speeds, aero etc & now we are starting races with zero suspension travel, flat front tyres (1.4 bar) & everyone arriving at Turn One together. This needs to stop. Hope no one is seriously injured🙏
Today was busier than expected after two quiet days. Total three day crowd 112,000. Not bad for a first attempt. Fans seemed knowledgeable & really into it, which really makes an event 🇮🇳
Congratulations to Dorna, IRTA & Fairstreet Sports for making the first

happen, after all the concerns from riders, teams & others in the paddock. Awesome track. Love the country. A few improvements to be made here for 2024, but all in all 👏👏🇮🇳🇮🇳
I think it's very sad & wrong that there's no tribute to Haruki Noguchi at Red Bull Ring, following his death yesterday. Noguchi was a member of this paddock only recently, finishing 3rd in the 2019 Red Bull Rookies behind Carlos Tatay & Pedro Acosta. And he won at Red Bull Ring
Hickman told me he uses wheelspin to turn the bike at the TT, especially at very high speeds when the bike just wants to go straight. This is the left at Crosby village, probably 170/180mph. Stunning photo 😍😍💪💪
Seen this,

entering Crosby. He once assured me he's cruising around the TT. I'm not sure I believed it than, but I sure as hell don't believe it now... What an image.
So I tried again to photo the

scrutineers checking tyre pressures according to the new rules. I stood in pit lane, not in the scrutineering bay. I was told to go away & then had the Dorna heavies threaten me. What is a MotoGP fan to make of this? Cos these are the people…
BTW I don’t think Marc Marquez will be accepting riding advice from Twitterati who have not 1% of an inkling of what it takes to ride a MotoGP bike & to ride one at the level he rides. By all means join the conversation if you’ve ridden at world championship level, otherwise…
Delighted to watch Franco Morbidelli win his first MotoGP race. Such a cool guy. And possibly even more impressed to see him become the first MotoGP rider to bring the BLM issue into motorcycle racing. Huge bravery on AND off the bike 💪💪
Oh. My. God. I hope Petrucci goes full-time rally raid, rather than MotoAmerica because to become the first MotoGP and Dakar winner would be epic. 👏👏👏👏
Huge congratulations to Jake Dixon on his first GP win! I have big respect for any British rider who doesn't take the usual British route and spend his career in WSB but instead risks it all in the highest-level championship: ie Dixon, Lowes, Crutchlow etc 👏👏💪💪
Andrew Wheeler took many fantastic MotoGP photos, including the cover shot for VR All His Races. It's so perfect you'd think it was a studio photo - lighting, position etc etc - but it's Rossi emerging from his garage during the 2013 Misano GP, ie gone in a split second

My wife the nurse did 50 Covid jabs this afternoon. They have nine doctors and nurses (assisted by 20 other staff, including some volunteers) doing jabs and in each four-hour session the stats show they save one life and 14 hospital admissions 👏👏👏👏👏
At Portimao in March I spoke to a Ducati engineer who told me, “If Marquez or Quartararo get on one of these no one will see which way they went.” He may have been wrong obvs, but these people tend to know what they’re talking about

blog: some teams are gaining a vital performance advantage by running illegal tyre pressures. This has been going on for a while. Finally at Jerez (where the winner's front was under pressure throughout) someone leaked the official data to me
Someone asked MM if he is again the 2019 MM. MM said that now in MotoGP the bike is much more important: you can’t brake behind another bike cos of the vacuum & if you are behind another bike on the throttle you get too much wheelie for the same reason. We are now 2-wheel F1 👏👏
Memories of one of the last GPs in Rio: VR's 2001 title-winning party, when the paddock still engineered its hangovers all together. Recall VR working hard at getting Kato & Pedrosa on the vino. 📸 Milagro
Going to tweet this photo again and again because every time I look at Binder's rear tyre and then his front tyre it makes me smile and I'm sure you feel the same 📸 Rob Gray (Polarity Photo)
RIP Phil Read. One of the greatest and hardest motorcycle racers of all time. What a character, in both good and bad ways. A minutes silence will be required at Phillip Island next week 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good on Lewis Hamilton for wearing a LGBTQ+ rainbow lid during the Qatar F1 GP. Why has no MotoGP rider done this?! Homosexuality is illegal in Qatar, punishable by 3 years jail & even by death. ANYTHING that can be done to embarrass these sports-washing regimes has to be good
This is THE photo of Aragon - the town of Alcaniz in the background. Scene of some horrible fighting in the final stages of the Spanish Civil War & also where the Spanish won a famous victory against the French during the Napoleonic Wars in 1809. Photo from

I want to inform the relevant authorities that while travelling to Heathrow at 5.30am tomorrow I will ride my motorcycle in the fast lane of the M4, between junctions 3 and 4B, at a speed of 125mph, therefore breaking the law in a limited and specific way. Thank you very much
So, MM93 had a head concussion last Saturday and his doctors decide he shouldn't ride in this weekend's Algarve GP. 7 weeks ago Denis Oncu was knocked out for 10/15 minutes at Misano & MotoGP doctors passed him fit to race the next morning. I'm no doctor but...
If I was MotoGP I'd ask Rossi, Marquez and the other big stars to do 10-second video clips asking people to get jabbed: "I've had the vaccine and I hope you do too - the more of us that get jabbed the better it will be". Something like that. Use the sport for positive ends😎
Clearly Bagnaia is on the green exiting Stowe on the final lap, for which the rules should drop him one place, ie to third behind Binder. KTM currently protesting this to the stewards. Good luck with that

🤯20 years ago today Valentino Rossi won the 500cc world championship with victory at Phillip Island, the first of his seven premier-class titles. Exactly one month from today he will ride his last motorcycle GP. Nice symmetry🍻🍻
