Now published in Nature Mental Health! . Main difference since the first preprint was posted: we now have results for #autism as well! Results are similar to Bipolar and OCD 🧵👇.
New preprint! 🎉. Is educational attainment causally associated with mental health?.We compare EA and psychiatric diagnoses of 1.7M Dutch siblings, and we check if Mendelian randomization analyses tell us the same story. Spoiler: not always! 😱.

New paper! 🥳 I had so much fun working on this interdisciplinary project, and proud it is part of @GaiaGhirardi's great thesis! . This started from a chat with @KarlosJ89 during online ECSR in 2020, proof that online conferences can lead to collaboration too. 😃.
First publication of my thesis is out w/ this fantastic & interdisciplinary team: @KarlosJ89, F. Bernardi, @drElsje, @PerlineDemange!✨. Do parents' SES moderate the link between genetic propensity for (non)cognitive skills and education? . Open access:

I had an amazing time in our symposium on new methods for direct and indirect genetic effects, all talks were brilliant (shout-out to @LyuXuanyu’s Pirate and Ninja AM love story) and the public gave us insightful discussions!

Very curious to hear more in the future about @KTNThompson and @geurgas extending tools developed for genomics to environmental/neighborhood variables and reverse. Some of the most innovative talks I heard!
