Universal precautions is a concept of infection control that has been highlighted agin by current hysteria: Treat everyone with respect and suspicion - it could be you? But with good basic precautions it probably will not affect you or your family in the future.

100 years ago on this day! After Ethel Gordon Fenwick, spent more than 30 years campaigning for the state registration of nurses. Her efforts paid off with the Nurses Registration Act 1919, bringing nurses together under one profession. Happy Birthday RN’s @SaferSurgeryUK @theRCN.
