Google's monopoly power rips off consumers, pollutes our information environment, and destroys the news media. Today's €2.95 billion fine is a start, but won't touch Google's toxic ad-tech monopoly. The EU must now break up Google. @EU_Commission

Big Tech monopolies threaten EU democracy. The EU Commission will be finalising its decision in the Google ad-tech case by July. The EU must stand up to tech giants and act to break up Google & others. Sign @wemoveEU’s petition to demand it: https://t.co/O5tt5xtnSE

Content moderation systems continue to treat sex workers’ rights advocacy as dangerous or illegal, perpetuating stigma and exclusion. We stand in solidarity with @sexworkeurope and allied organisations being unjustly and arbitrarily silenced.

This incident is not unique. It is a daily reality for sex workers, sex worker-led groups, and allied human rights orgs trying to use mainstream platforms to advocate, organise, and speak out. These are registered NGOs being silenced for doing legitimate, rights-based work.
