The richest 1% accumulated nearly twice as much wealth as the rest of the world put together over the past two years. It's not radical to tax the rich. It's radical to allow this level of extreme wealth concentration to continue.

Workers are not “paid what their worth.” According to this mythology, workers at the bottom are “unskilled” and don’t deserve more than what they currently earn. It's a myth peddled by the rich to exploit you. There’s no such thing as unskilled workers. Only underpaid workers.

Colgate-Palmolive, which controls 40% of the toothpaste market, has increased prices 12% even as volume declined by 2%. As a result, the company's profits have soared. Greed and market concentration are driving inflation, not workers demanding better wages and benefits.

Right now, House Republicans are demanding we pinch pennies on programs like food assistance & health care for families. Next month, they want to roll out a plan that hands trillions in tax cuts to big corporations & the wealthy. This is not fiscal responsibility. It’s cruelty.

🚨 JUST IN: ESA vouchers are projected to bankrupt the state by next year, costing $900M by July ‘24. There is no funding for this unaccountable, unbudgeted program — but our leaders are sitting idly while public education is destroyed in front of our eyes. #AZVoucherWatch

Approximately 34,000 Arizonans hold a teaching certificate but are not currently teaching. The problem isn't a shortage of qualified people - it's keeping experienced, passionate professionals in the classroom in the face of low pay, bad working conditions and a lack of respect.
