The Senate version of the budget bill puts the U.S. on a dangerous fiscal path while tariffs still act as a stagflationary shock to our economy. We need to consider to what extent we're willing to take away resources from generations for tax cuts skewed toward the wealthy

In 2024, the CBO released a report on the debt sensitivity of interest rates. As U.S. debt increases, we risk shrinking our economy by increasing borrowing costs for U.S. households and small businesses. OBBBA could potentially add trillions to U.S. debt.

Tariffs are already stifling housing construction; single-family housing starts are down 7.3 percent from a year ago. OBBBA will only make the situation worse by forcing mortgage rates higher. Young, hardworking Arizona families cannot afford OBBBA. #onebigbeautifulmess

The top 1 percent will receive a tax cut that is larger than the incomes of many hardworking Arizona families. At the same time, this bill will kick hundreds of thousands of Arizonans off their health insurance. #onebigbeautifulmess
