Thank you @RenuMandhane for your support. We have been fighting for this for over 30 years. Mandatory race based data collection for police encounters and the public reporting of that data is a step forward in addressing Anti-Black racism within the TPS.

He, she, or ... ? Gender-neutral pronouns reduce biases – study. Language shapes reality!
A study in Sweden, which adopted the gender-neutral pronoun "hen" in 2015, showed that use of such pronouns helps to combat biases that favor men & raise awareness of other genders. In English, "they" can be used as a gender-neutral singular pronoun.
