Excited that our amazing volunteers started last night to image herbarium vouchers from Madagascar @KewScience which will give much access to researchers from afar @TeamKMCC and enable easier taxonomic research for key groups of genera

Psammophora modesta grows in the Richtersveld, has sticky leaves which collect grains of sand until they are completely coated. This sand coating acts as sun and wind protection, helps keep the plant cool, helps conserve water and acts as a camouflage against hungry tortoise.
