I’m very sad to hear that Barrett Strong has passed away aged 81. Not only did he have the first hit for Tamla with Money (That’s What I Want) but he also wrote the lyrics for ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home)’ A hugely talented guy - #RIPBarrett.
