I still find it impossible to believe it was 36 years ago this week that my album ‘No Parlez’ went to number 1 in the UK. And you all kept buying it (900,000 copies apparently) so it stayed there for a very long time! . As always - I thank you all!

So sad to hear Gary Rhodes the British chef died last night at just 59. He was at the forefront of the gastronomy explosion in the 80s, ate at his place many times & just missed my chance to go to his restaurant in Dubai a couple of months ago. My sympathies to his wife & family.
