60 Minutes extinction story has brought the usual right-wing out in force. If I'm always wrong so is science, since my work is always peer-reviewed, including the POPULATION BOMB and I've gotten virtually every scientific honor. Sure I've made some mistakes, but no basic ones

Having Stanford freshmen all listen to Nate’s podcast would have enormously more impact on their knowledge of the world than Stanford’s new fake “sustainability” school. It should be shown worldwide in high schools and colleges, ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQTuDttP2Yg

The world’s population is 8 billion and rising. That’s probably a good thing. The Editorial Board of the WAPO has dug up every imbecilic, long-disproved, anti-science argument for further population growth and combined them into a most dangerous article.

Tried to send faculty colleagues note on increasing odds of large-scale nuclear war. Stanford's wise "moderator" rejected it because the possible end of civilization would be of no interest to them, in light of the University policy of doing nothing about existential threats

Americans, faced with an increasing likelihood of the end of civilization, worry about rising gasoline prices. Universities like Stanford continue to do nothing, no shutting down for the duration of the war and trying to educate the public. It’s a disgrace
