.@P_1_AI we are looking to invent a new interaction model for Archie, our AI engineer. we prize functionalism, density, explicitness, anti-minimalism, verbosity over opacity, and a timeless, unfashionable approach to UI that prioritizes performance and complexity as needed.

the current interaction model for AI is unimaginative. yes, a command line interface is familiar to developers and conceals a lot of complexity for laymen. but it is also incredibly low in information density. it cannot be the right answer for engineers building real stuff.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Lidar and radar reduce safety due to sensor contention. If lidars/radars disagree with cameras, which one wins? This sensor ambiguity causes increased, not decreased, risk. Thatâs why Waymos canât drive on highways. We turned off the radars in Teslas to increase safety.
