Last week, I handed over the colors and completed my tenure as the 83rd Commander of the 3d US Infantry Regiment @USArmyOldGuard. It was also my last assignment in the Army. Excited for the next steps and what lies ahead.

We are excited to host our first Expert Field Medical Badge testing alongside ESB and EIB. Couldn’t do this without the teamwork for Fort Meade’s MEDDAC. Good luck to all the candidates.

Mastering medical care can be the difference between life or death in a combat zone. The #E3B medical lanes test Soldiers on how well they can provide this care to standard, in sequence, when time is of the essence. #EIB #ESB #EFMB #NotJustACeremonialUnit @USArmy

When ceremonies are our primary mission, the margin for error is very small. However, among us there are those that perform the best under extreme pressure. #Congratulations to all the winners in TOG's #CeremonialOlympics! @USArmy @MDW_USARMY

For this first time in over a decade, the 3d US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) conducted a Department of the Army Retirement Ceremony led entirely by non-commissioned officers. Expect nothing less from the finest NCO Corps in the world.

This is why we seek opportunities for the public to engage these Sentinels off the plaza. Talk to them, here their stories, and connect with them. They are the best advocates we have for the quality of this profession. You will be proud of they present your Army and US Military

What is it we want them to take away from that experience? A large part of it is recognizing how we honor and remember those who not only lost their lives, but lost their identity. An equal part is how these these Soldiers represent the entire U.S. military. (2/X)
