Liberian literature must rise above politics & mediocrity, must strive for literary excellence, so we cannot be content with books, published without peer review or for their sheer quantity. It is quality that gives literature its lasting value, & to writers, notoriety.

I'm really thinking of leaving this platform very soon. Talking about being "Verified," crap. I was verified when my Mama had me.

I have always been one of Robert Frost's biggest fans, studying him in grad school, his life, & his poetics. This poem which speaks to my own life, & now more than ever, inspired a poem of mine, "I Am Acquainted with Waiting," published in my 2nd poetry collection in 2003.

I may be grieving still, but I'm so proud of you, Kamala Harris. Thank you, Vice President, thank you. Hundreds of millions of our children have already heard your call, and are answering, not just in America, but across the globe. Thank you so much! We love you!

Kamala Harris went into the Fox's den, and beat them up, walking away, laughing. Her interviewer was left thinking, "What just happened?"
