🪰Our study on how fly hindwings acquire their 3D🧊shape is now out in @CurrentBiology 🥳
It took a lot of effort to figure out, but here it is: the Drosophila haltere displays wing-like dorsoventral adhesion (surprise!) and that is essential for shaping its 3D architecture in a very interesting way
