One month since the #AirIndiaCrash, my thoughts are with the families of those sadly lost. Over this month I have joined vigils for the souls of those lost, including here at Yogi Divine Haridham. I pray that answers will be forthcoming but know this may take time.

We have installed 1,100 litre bins in 12 Harrow parks. The capacity of these bins is 4.5 times greater than normal public waste bins. This is part of trial to reduce litter at peak times like the weekends and school holidays. We are restoring pride in our parks.

Under Harrow Conservatives the number of missed bins reported in 2024/25 was down by 20% compared to the last year Labour ran the Council in 2021/22. We are improving the performance and reliability of Harrow's bin service.

Last year we completely resurfaced 47 roads in Harrow, ensuring our highways are fit for the future. This year we have more than doubled the road repair budget and implemented a clear plan to invest £42 million in Harrow's road by 2027.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Dilesh. We have a prayer meeting in memory of @_DileshShah this Thursday.

Last week Harrow's Conservative Councillors approved a £42 million investment in our roads over the next 3 years. This long term, strategic approach to road repairs will allow the Council to plan road maintenance more effectively and ensure Harrow's roads are in good condition.

We believe in a no-nonsense approach when dealing with perpetrators of fly-tipping. If someone dumps rubbish in Harrow, we will do everything we can to ensure they pay for their crime. Since 2022, the number of fines for fly-tipping has increased to over 1,200 per year.
