Thank you to all those who organised and attended the beautiful memorial service at Belmont Synagogue this Saturday, commemorating those affected by the tragic events at Heaton Park Synagogue on Thursday.

Labour Councillors were honoured to attend this year’s Battle of Britain thanksgiving service, to commemorate 85 years since the heroic bravery of our troops.

Today we pay tribute to all those who served in the Battle of Britain, particularly those who gave their lives so we could live in peace and safety. Even today, 85 years on from that battle, we shall never forget their sacrifice and it’s contribution to our security.
