The Prime Minister says: we have reduced child poverty by hundreds of thousands. Please look at this graph of destitution. Most important is the problem - the steep rise in destitution - but also important is trying to say that it doesn't exist.
A national scandal: Levels of destitution not seen since the earlier 20th century are just the tip of an iceberg of poisonous inequality, insecurity and destruction https://t.co/xK7Y4vRZMe

@ehnheart @cancereu @enspbrussels @AoecsCoeliac @EuropeanCancer @EU_CDA11 @EFA_Patients @EUneurology @EKHA_EU @EuropeLiver Health deserves a prominent position within the EU budget, with explicit backing in the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). The principles of the Economy of Wellbeing should be followed by the new EU institutions to enhance the health of individuals, the planet & the economy.

Impressive evidence of the effectiveness of Ottawa's Canada-wide early learning & childcare plan in today's fall fiscal update. The cost parents pay for childcare has fallen dramatically. 1/2

This is shocking. I mean, who would've "thunk" it? -- Giving people money who don't have money would be a solution. And here I am, over here thinking that marriage was the solution. ๐ค

A person, by virtue of living in Alberta, does not pay more into CPP than other Canadians. That same person does not receive less out of CPP by virtue of living in Alberta. The whole "Albertans are subsidizing other people's pensions" shtick is pretty tiresome.
