.@EddieNunezAD using the fact that the NM Bowl stepped in & forced him to let us use the facility. Trying to act like he wasn’t petty. If you can’t host bowl games without trying to ruin them for teams who earned the right to be there. You shouldn’t have the privilege of hosting
One more update: NM State athletic director Mario Moccia told me that when NMSU staff went for a bowl site visit, they were shown an outdoor stadium as their practice site. On Dec. 5, Moccia called a "senior UNM official," who said the Aggies could not use UNM's indoor facility.

Idiot UNM proves again they dont understand what a college rivalry really means. Utep during covid let NMSU use their facilities. They are rivals but deep down understand rivals help each other. UNM has been trying g to sabotage NMSU for decades and it continues to this day.

I spoke this morning with New Mexico AD Eddie Nunez, who said UNM did not deny any access to its facilities for bowl participants, has always allowed them as a bowl partner. The assertion UNM would retaliate against NMSU for the Pavia incident is “both misguided and offensive.”

Someone finally has the balls to say how terrible of a person @EddieNunezAD is. Who better than one of the most respected coaches in college football. Rivalries are rivalries! But he has 100% aggravated and escalated situations. The worst type of leader.
