I have never owned a car, and Philly is one of the few places I’ve lived or frequented where nothing truly felt off limits (at least in the city) and that was largely due to SEPTA. I hope SE PA, and the rest of the state (even PGH) gets the transit funding they need.

My time in West Philly was marked by 2 MFL stations & 5 bus routes that gave me fairly decent access to West, Southwest, South & Center City. There was a time when my complaint was that we needed more frequency; Now the complaint is that these routes are needed in the first place.

It's hard to make jokes about how much I "dislike" SEPTA now that the reality that they might be hollowed out due to the reprehensible actions of PA Republicans is coming closer and closer.

My wish is NJ, but my realistic answer is NH.

- headache of either PANYNJ or MTA/NJT having to buy (or buy & co-own) M8s.- demand for a 1SR isn’t high enough imo . A good start/potential metric would be a unified fare that can be used on all stops btwn Jamaica & EWR, with stipulation that you have to go past NYP.
