The elections in Vienna went well yesterday. However, more than a third of the population cannot participate (or only at the district level). Is this democratic? How could it be changed? These are the questions we’ll be discussing today.

On April 27, #Vienna votes – but not everyone is allowed to participate. One third of Vienna's population is excluded from the right to vote. Particularly affected: people without Austrian citizenship, many from Central and Southeastern Europe.
