We are witnessing growing levels of verbal and physical racist abuse faced by healthcare staff. These incidents are appalling and totally unacceptable. NHS orgs must have zero tolerance policies in place for abusive patients. Statement from @DrHNaqvi:

I warned last year that some Trusts were knowingly exaggerating their progress in improving the relative likelihood of BME staff being appointed from shortlisting compared to White staff. The 2024 Trust on WRES 2 shows I was right. https://t.co/8pubyWJwai

A blotchy, sometimes raised, rash is one of the signs of #Measles. It’s not usually itchy, and it can look different on different skin tones. 🧒🏼🔴🧒🏾 If you think you or your child has measles, contact your GP practice urgently or call NHS 111. 📞

Measles rashes can appear differently on dark or tan skin compared to light skin. It may be harder to detect early in darker skin tones without careful observation. Delayed recognition = delayed treatment, and isolation = higher risk of spread and complications. #measles

.@TheGPhC - please could you clarify if this MoU includes all registrants? If #PharmacyTechnicians are excluded, what is the regulators' equivalent commitment to our wellbeing? Seems this is for pharmacist registrants (& non-registrant trainee pharmacists) only? #Equality
