It does feel a bit silly that a guy who bends to get into a position to make a proper tackle (albeit leads with the shoulder) will be banned for weeks on end but I’ve just seen someone try kick a player on the ground in the face and he’s back playing 10 minutes later.

If BB has entered in a high position, that makes it even worse that Beirne has hit him in the head. A clear red and the fact that the panel has rescinded it puts players' in danger

Interesting call that on the bunker yellow. The law was brought in because of horrific (possibly) career-ending injuries - yet it's called "low danger". No it's not on the head, but you can have high danger to other parts of the body

Player availability for "Tier 2" nations has for whatever reason got noticeably worse compared to 2-3 years ago. International rugby outside "Tier 1" has become so low status that AJ MacGinty is playing a *Prem Rugby Cup* game this week instead of a key RWC qualifier for 🇺🇸 USA.

Absolutely gutted for Ireland. Yes they needed to convert more chances, but France got away with so much in their 22 #RWC2025
