Regarding this topic. He technically isn't "wrong." Bitcoin has strayed very far away from its original definition of peer to peer electronic cash system. It is fungible, yet it isn't fixed in value. It's a store of value. It is a speculative vessel when you understand the game.

I disagree with your take here. I do agree with the rotting that is taking place. Crypto is mature enough now that it is starting to become superior to traditional financial markets at certain tasks. Stable-coins are in the process of being deeply entrenched in treasury.
IMO crypto isn’t here to overhaul the financial system, it’s here to be a viable alternative when the financial system rots beyond the point of working. It’s a Christensen-style disruption of the existing system which has exclusively gone upmarket to serving the entrenched elite.
