Former @nationwidekids GI fellow @jsmkhoo w her RDBPC trial on baclofen for kids w #rumination. ➡️ Baclofen 0.5mg/kg (up to 15) div TID was well-tolerated. ➡️ Baclofen led to improvement, but not superior to placebo 🤔. She completed this during fellowship! . More to come. 😃

Angela Lee, @OhioStateMed M3, reviewed prokinetic response in a small but clean group of kids w #PIPO. Response variable to prokinetics studied (erythro, Augmentin, prucalopride, pyridostigmine, octreotide) but those w more generalized effect may be more effective. 🤔. #DDW2025
