On this day 22 years ago, Chris Rix's 52-yard touchdown pass to P.K. Sam in the final minute lifted Florida State football past rival Florida in a top-15 matchup, 38-34. The pass came one play after FSU converted a 4th-and-14 on a 24-yard pass from Rix to Dominic Robinson.

On this day 60 years ago, Florida State football scored 10 fourth-quarter points to upset No. 5 Georgia, 10-3. Bill Moremen put FSU ahead for good with a 20-yard touchdown run on the first snap of the fourth quarter. FSU finished with 282 yards to just 134 for Georgia.
