And while I know he didn't have a great postseason, FSU doesn't sniff No. 9 overall national seed without Alex Lodise. He had a great year. Good luck to him and Arnold, Max Williams, Drew Faurot and others in the MLB Draft. And go find a few bats to go with Bailey. He's insane.

That looked low. But when you give up 13 in the first two innings hard to complain about a call in the ninth. Good season. Showed some real fight there after getting way behind. Shout-out to Oregon State and that fan base. They deserve good things after realignment nonsense.

I thought UNC had a very real chance to win the national title. Won first game of Supers 18-2. Blew the next game. Then blew 3-1 lead in G3 when senior 2B booted an easy double-play grounder in 8th. Arizona scores 3. Wins 4-3. And UNC is done. Postseason baseball is rough!.

One thing that still bothers me (a lot!) about yesterday’s game: Hankerson getting thrown out at the plate. Link admitted after game that Hankerson thought Carns’ 2B was a HR. So, he jogged to second. He ends up getting thrown out at home. They lose by a run. Ridiculous.

FSU probably isn’t going to win the CWS this year. That was a devastating L to come back from. But when they finally do win it — and it will happen! - it will be with a team that overcomes crazy adversity. Like losing a heartbreaker in Game 1 of Supers. It’s the only way.

You can't walk the pinch-hitter with two outs and one on. That's the AB that really stings. If he hits it 500 feet so what? Kid didn't have a HR all year. You can't walk em there. But, man, Charles had been so good lately and in this game. Until just now.

If you're keeping count, that's now three players thrown out on the bases for the third out of an inning. At first, third and home. Just need someone thrown out at 2nd next inning to complete the cycle. Big hit by Brody D though in that spot.
