LDS tools should come with an anonymous tip line where we turn in each other for small meaningless sins. This would really reign in disobedience and our culture as being judgmental.
If y’all are that close, ask him in private if he’s confessed this to the Bishop. If not, let the Bishop know and allow him to handle it. At that point, whether he stays in the Bishopric or not, is not of your concern. The Bishop presides over the ward. You did your part and.

It’s funny to me that Jesus condemns paying money to get into heaven then we are required to pay tithing to get a temple recommend which is needed to get into celestial kingdom. I know there are multiple ways to defend this but just think logically for a minute.
