Bloom alert: Another one of the Garden’s ghost orchids (Dendrophylax lindenii) has started to bloom, and is on display in the Tropical Greenhouse. The bloom will only last a short time and the best time to view it will be today through Sunday, July 28.

Happy #PhenologyFriday! This western columbine (Aquilegia formosa) was observed in Calfornia with all leaves unfolded and in middle flowering. Looking forward to watching that fruit ripen!
