(7/7) The number and range of imported infections in the UK has increased in recent decades. We need to maintain specialist skills in imported, complex and rare infections, as well as maintaining generalist skills in infection in the wider healthcare workforce.

My comment piece on Louis Theroux in @Telegraph ‘We’ve already seen well-established media figures such as Gary Lineker be sunk by allegations of anti-Semitism. Louis Theroux appears to be the latest. In a podcast interview with the Bob Vylan rapper Pascal Robinson-Foster – who

Ayoub Khan MP was far more honest than most regarding the Maccabi Tel Aviv ban. Look at his original statement below. The ban is because of ‘the political dynamics…’ In other words, the ban is not to protect us from them, but them from us…which remains utterly shameful.

Don’t remember Owen worrying about policing costs when his friends are marching through London chanting for the eradication of Israel.

British parents are skipping hot meals to feed their kids. But the British government is going to splash taxpayers' money on allowing Israeli football hooligans with a penchant for chanting 'Death to Arabs!' to rampage on our streets. In the face of public opposition.

If the country can afford to spend over £50 million on policing Gaza protests in London alone, protests that feature, tolerate & promote Jew-hatred and the support of terrorists, it can afford to protect visiting Jewish Israeli football fans from those who want to harm them.

Good news, but the root cause of coordinated antisemitism needs to be addressed too, not just protecting British Jews. Saying Britain remains a cohesive, tolerant society, ignores the reality, as shown by regular demonstrations where so much targeted hate is expressed (& ignored)

No one should have to live a life in fear because of the faith they practice. That is not the Britain we stand for. In addition to existing support, up to £10 million in new funding will protect synagogues, Jewish faith schools and community centres across the UK.

The NHS should be safe for all. I’ve been shocked by NHS staff who seem to think that racism against Jewish people is acceptable - encouraged by a complacent and indifferent regulatory system. Enough. John Mann will lead a short, sharp review to deal with racism in our ranks.

"Do you see my son? He will come to you again like on the seventh of October!" A palestinian prisoner and his son, who were just released from Israeli prison, promise that they'll come back to kill more Israelis like on October 7th. Here's your "peace in the middle east"!

No, @BBCNews, it's not a "hostage exchange." One side are Israeli hostages, the other are Palestinian prisoners. If you can't tell the difference, you shouldn't call yourselves journalists.

GRETA’S LATEST LIE (And, of course, it’s about Israel again). Yesterday, as Israeli hostages were released by Hamas—starved, ghostly pale, almost unrecognizable—Greta Thunberg was busy posting on Instagram, implying that Gazan influencer Saleh Al Jafarawi, known online as Mr.

The pro-Palestinians want to protest on the anniversary of October 7 because they want to co-opt the one day when people remember that Israelis are victims. They want you to hate, not empathise. They want the binary that Israel is evil. Reality blows that apart. That’s why.

Hamas raped women as an act of war. Do not look away from that. The details are not “lies” and if you say so you’re supporting rape. Today is a day to pay respect to the victims of Hamas’ act of extreme violence on Oct 7 2023. There is no “but” ✋🏻 https://t.co/jdJX7zxLrN

An important message from Sacha Baron Cohen: “The murder of Jews at a Manchester synagogue is not a one-off. It’s part of the biggest surge in hatred of Jews since the Nazis. No one should have to risk their lives to pray.” This was not an isolated act of terror, it’s a brutal

Not surprising, but pathetic to see leaders falling over themselves to say they stand with British Jews, after effectively enabling and facilitating a growth in antisemitism over the last 12 months, while demonising the only Jewish state defending itself from murderous Jew-haters
