Last festival of the School Games calendar today, linking schools to a local club for a mixture of skill development and mini comps. Can’t wait for this one. Something different and something new.

Day three of delivering activities as part of #NSSW2025 day 1 multi skills with 3 primaries day 2 orienteering, tug of war and inflatable assault course high school sports day. Day 3 archery as part of a job jamboree at another of my primaries. Great week. 👍

In my role as SGO a few months ago I was asked to get the ball rolling with a schools multi sports event to enable 3 schools to bring KS1 pupils for Y6 leaders to run. Today the headteacher made it happen & I’m pleased to say it was a fabulous event. Well done Y6

What a fantastic afternoon Thorpe Willoughby Y3/4 class to introduce them to orienteering. They were so good at counting cones we swiftly moved onto netball court orienteering. Pupil voice at the end of the session showed it was successful, enjoyable & they would like more

Looking forward to being back out in the primary schools this week. This half terms offer is orienteering, an introduction to counting cones, netball court and staff CPD on how to make your own map via google maps.

I’ve had a fantastic few days in London, the highlight being that I got to spend the evening at the Royal Albert Hall watching the incredible Annie Lennox & Friends Sisters event to raise awareness of @TheCircleNGO charity Confronting gender-based violence & economic inequality
