Hey everyone, take a moment to pray for Jamaica as a Cat 5 Hurricane is about to make landfall. Especially pray for the safety and health of Hieromonk Constantine and his flock at the parishes of St. Moses the Black and St. Timothy the Apostle, which are under ROCOR. 🇯🇲☦️

At St. Tikhon’s in Chattanooga today. Per their greeter, “Our children officially outnumber us and about a third are catechumens.” Everywhere, our ships are sinking. Glory to God!

Celebrate the different. It is the unique individuals who shape our world. Creation is driven by those who break from the mainstream and see things from a different perspective. Initially, they may face ostracism for their differences, but they are the heroes who stand up,

Such a ridiculous take. Do these people realize that saying "Rest in Peace" or "May he rest in Peace" are actually prayers for the departed soul? They do it without even realizing it. Praying for the dead is just part of being human.

"Adam disregarded his leadership role. Instead of stepping in to uphold God’s commandment and protect Eve, he waited, and when she did not immediately die, he ate too. Adam was willing to sacrifice Eve to test if it was safe for him to also eat." https://t.co/2pmUPlaqbw

What was the nature of man as created by God? Why did man fall, and why was the forbidden tree even in Eden? Why did sin bring death?

Christian worship is worship that aligns with the liturgy of Heaven, as revealed to us in the biblical Book of Revelation. Θ
Worship in Heaven is liturgical, as revealed to St. John and recorded in Revelation. Standing before the Throne are 24 Elders. This Akathist honors them. We often read Revelation for the prophecies, but we should also meditate on what we learn about Heaven. Link below. 1/2

The Septuagint is the earliest Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible. According to the Septuagint and the Orthodox Study Bible, as well as St. John Chrysostom’s source, Eve was not alone. Adam and Eve heard the Serpent at the same time. https://t.co/2pmUPlaY14

"When actual “magick” practitioners champion the intentional use of pop music as mass-participation in occult rituals, we should pay attention." https://t.co/7fozQed8d1

Sorcery is using sounds to create an artificial reality. Music plays a major role in speaking all that artifice into existence.

The Apocalypse talks about sorcery – also possible to translate as drug-using or drug-dealing – four times, and Galatians once. Even as God is destroying the world in 9:21, the people still refuse to repent of their sorcery. 2/2 https://t.co/7fozQecAnt

Sorcery is an act of rebellion of God, which is why the prophet Samuel accused King Saul of reducing the sacred rituals to sorcery. It does not accept the created order as-is. Likewise, music creates a false sense of order. Link to article below. 1/2

St. Cleopa tells us about the 9 stages of prayer… This is what the Catholics and Protestants have been trying to hide from the west all these centuries and what God is revealing to the next generation… HOLY ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY☦️

The witness of St. John of Heaven is eternal, liturgical worship before the Throne of God. As Orthodox Christians, we need to do a better job of understanding that truth, and communicating it. May the 24 Holy Elders help us. https://t.co/E0OL2MNsa4

@OrthodoxReflec1 If people largely understood that rabbinic Judaism is the exact same traditions of the fathers that Jesus specifically with 2,000 years of heresy stacked on top, they might feel a little bit different about these Jewish folks. Just saying

If I had one piece of advise for anyone that is Orthodox or inquiring, it would be, for the love of God, stay away from schismatics. Just stay away from them. Stay away from the "charismatic monastic elder" who was defrocked from multiple jurisdictions and now leads his own
