A blurry view through a wet window and horizontal rain! Getting a bit breezy in Orkney. I opened up 1 side of the electric fence so the sheep could fully access the part of the field most sheltered from current SE wind, but over weekend will be able to shelter best from W wind

Glasgow, Ulster, Stoke-on-Trent, Bradford, Leeds, Tamworth, Ely (Wales), Edinburgh and York, all places weโve seen are blighted by misuse of #fireworks. As antisocial behaviour gets worse, so is firework misuse, especially weaponising them. People have been killed in recent

On a damp & breezy morning I see the sun, in its annual movement from north to south across the horizon, is now rising directly in the east. By mid winter it will be hidden from sight behind the hill to the south of the farm, never rising high enough to peek above the hill.

This type of biased research is irresponsible! Always when comparing a plant-based diet to a diet including red meat this is actually what they are counting as red meat. See @lowcarbGP for truth red meat alone can't cause diabetes & low carb can cure it https://t.co/8LqH6icJP2?

You may see the only 2 Lost Flock sheep outside Orkney. They were a gift to King Charles from @RBSTrarebreeds to celebrate his 70th birthday in 2018 We drove them down & saw the wonderful facilities & healthy thriving livestock incl many rare breeds at Home Farm Exciting course!

Well now... Today's entry for the "Isn't that Awkward" folder...
"The inclusion of red meat in a high-"Healthy Eating Index (HEI)" diet is associated with improved nutrient adequacy, mental health, and gut microbial diversity, with no observed adverse effects." https://t.co/7B9c90x8XO

That's the sheep safely delivered. They unloaded very nicely. Munr's staff always give them the time to come off when they feel ready
