Update on my QQQ post from this morning, we went to the upside instead, going for the top of the expanding wedge. A good example on why you should game plan for both directions just in case. I was able to flip stances and get with it, but I was a little too 🔐 onto an idea.

Things I’m watching on the Q’s today… Expanding wedge goin. Would not shock me to see a rip into resistance and then a nice matching flag pole down for retest of the daily 20… Something I’m watching… 📈

Everyone loves to post their W’s. I respect the ones that keep it a buck and show you both sides of the coin. 2 outstanding traders I highly recommend for anyone trying to change their financial life, @Desi_Trade & @EllyDtrades Can’t recommend enough.
all the good traders i know or read about, take small losses regularly. if you are a new trader, trying to learn and following someone who never talks about stopping out/taking small losses and only talks about profits/gains.... IMO you are doing yourself a disservice.

If you are a trader structure your trading in a way that even when you have a red day, you can still enjoy dinner with your family. In other words, don't be a gambler and everything will be alright.

Shoutout to @Desi_Trade for the morning analysis and spot on levels. Trust the levels, put in the work, and you too can make more money than your 9-5 while on your way to your 9-5… Learning to trade options properly will absolutely change your life. Just have to work at it.

Seeing some divergences between SPY and QQQ, & RSI. SMH lookin a bit toppy, or flaggy. They’re trapping somebody, just have to see who. Personally I think it’s time for some volatility plays. I’m gonna load up on some UVIX. Maybe take a few 45 day calls. Fits seasonally.

Reflecting on my step back from social media; I went from a daily user, to 1 or 2 times a week at the most. I’m fairly successful and confident in who I am. I carry myself accordingly. I’m still blown away by how much happier I am. Didn’t even realize it was affecting me.

It’s easy to get swept up in all of the call buying. I for one am very suspicious. We’ve “broken out” several times but gone nowhere. There’s no follow through momentum, and we’ve been overdue for a retrace. I think retail is getting sold into a bit at these levels.
