Thoughts I've shared with new investors: 1. View the stock market as a savings account that you keep adding to. Regularly invest money you don't foresee needing for at least 3 years, and ideally that you'll keep invested for much longer.

SaaS stocks are either going into permanent decline due to AI causing lower profitability and growth indefinitely, or SaaS leaders are going to prove their differentiated worth by continuing to grow revenue and profits -- either sooner by continuing to grow customers, or later by

Keep in mind, a secondary offering from $FIGR wouldn’t be surprising. Not for survival. But to compound. With the returns they’re earning, more capital to grow is a smart move.

$FIGR is down; earlier today it released preliminary loan volumes for Q4. Across the board, looks like strong progress. FIGR said in the Q3 conf. call that home equity loan volumes are usually seasonally slower in Q4 and Q1. Not a surprise. Even so, loan volume grew 10% Q/Q, 131%

I had a fun conversation with friend and investing colleague John Rotonti — @JRogrow — last year. At the end, we summarized the few main investing thoughts we realized in our chat. Perhaps the two largest investing missteps over the years: 1. Not buying enough of

This has been brewing for a long time, but it’s clear now that U.S. stocks could easily be re-priced to account for growing political risk in the country, limited fiscal restraint, and a failure of checks and balances — which greatly increases uncertainty, including for public

Want a HELOC for some reason? Applying takes less than five minutes on $FIGR. A test-run application was extremely easy (soft credit check). Figure is building proprietary, blockchain-based lending and yield-enhancing platforms and marketplaces, among other emerging offerings

As promised last year, I'm adding more longer-term option income to the portfolio this year. Starting today, the first position is a bull put spread on $LMND, selling to open Jan. 27 $75 puts and buying to open Jan. 27 $35 puts. (Shares are $74.85.) This offers about 90% return

$MELI, $DOCU, $ABNB, $ADBE, $AFRM, $FDS -- some quality companies at low forward multiples to FCF. Clearly, AFRM and MELI have the best revenue growth projections, but ADBE & ABNB sales growth remains respectable. It's a sign of the times how "old school" these companies already

A nice visual reminder that the market occasionally gives you nothing. Patience isn't a nice to have. It's a requirement.
