After bimbling on the heart of Wales line for 2 days on 150s and 153s, a proper train was in order! Currently gliding through Wales in first class on a loco hauled 225 set for a £10 upgrade!

Does anyone know if I can buy a valid first class upgrade using the Heart Of Wales line circular ranger from Shrewsbury to Swansea on the TfW premier service? Thank you!

After seeing the brilliant inspiration train, I also was able to sit in a 1960s bus. In the cab! There was also a fantastic exhibition at Lowestoft. Would recommend 100%. Great job to @LowestoftCentr1 and @GreaterAngliaPR!

Surely this just shows that these trains are too old to be kept in passenger service? The fact that there are large chunks of the UK network that rely on ageing units such as these is not brilliant in my opinion.
News that Class 150 No. 150231 is the first Sprinter to be preserved, kind of makes me feel old!. The former TfW unit, built in 1987, has been given its original livery by @BrandedByAura and it's new home will be the @mhrailway (Mid Hants). Porterbrook has donated the unit.

I was filming a video about all the airport express services in the UK the other day and was absolutely perplexed by this. there didn't seem to be any GX trains running. I asked a member of staff at Gatwick Airport and they told me I was better off boarding the Southern service.
First time I've seen the departure boards say this before! 'A Southern service, using some Gatwick Express coaches'
