Greater Anglia Transitions into Public Ownership From Sunday 12 October 2025, the operation of all Greater Anglia services transferred into public ownership. All current tickets remain valid, and timetables will not change. Passengers should travel with us in the usual way.

A 3-month trial of catering provision on the Norwich to Stansted Airport route is being introduced by @greateranglia from today. 5 services in each direction on Weds-Sat with possible expansion to Monday/Tuesday as well. As a regular on that route, I certainly welcome it!

Our new cycle parking hub at Bury St Edmunds station is officially open! Fully enclosed, with lighting and CCTV, it also features a secure, access-controlled area. Thank you to @dft (funds managed by Sustrans), @SuffolkCC and West Suffolk Council for their support with funding.
