What was special was that the conference was organised by the GoKarMa oncology group (Goa-North Karnataka-South Maharashtra). My first oncology association post training and being a part of the organizing team was just very heartening and encouraging. Onwards & Upwards!

@DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI please look into the matter. Every single day there are tweets about @IndiGo6E flights and the poor unacceptable conditions. Substandard service normalised. Disappointing!

After a course of chemotherapy, the boy returns to me for surgical evaluation. Postchemo PET shows reduction in the size of the tumour. We optimize his nutrition and take him up for an Ivor Lewis Esophgectomy. He still weighs 24kilos and is frail. A calculated risk. 🙏🏽

To help shrink a bulky tumour. A nasojejunal tube is inserted across d tumour to help feed him during this period Chemotherapy helps! The tumour starts to shrink and along with tube feeds, he slowly starts eating food! At times we don’t really value d importance of ‘normal’!
