People with Crohn's disease may need to have a bit of their small bowel removed. There is a risk that the Crohn's can recur soon after surgery and many people are put on medication to prevent this...

Do you use wearables or other tech to aid you? What have you found most useful?

I took part in a study called “Stress in Crohn’s disease” and as part of that used 2 wearables, including an Oura ring which I got to keep at the end. It is very good at sleep analysis and when I do look at the numbers, it’s sleep which I look at first.

I’ve just listened to the latest episode of the podcast. Wearables came up and as a techie, I use quite a few pieces of tech. However, I rarely look at the numbers and don’t have alerts set. For me, wearables are information recorders to look back on when I have a flare.
