@elmachuca My best friend built that building in 1984-85! Jim Buchanan! He worked with my uncle to dig up the mastodon and preserve it. The elephant room is where it was dug up!

While I agree part of this, there are some brash generalizations. Moving too far left suppresses innovation and competition which is essential for our society. The goal shouldn’t be to abandon capitalism, it should be to refine it. Encourage competition. Enforce antitrust laws
Late stage capitalism siphons every penny out of the poor and into the rich. That's why you can't move the needle too far toward pure capitalism - because those with the most resources wind up ruining everything.
