@MarcusLuther6 I teach US history so I was really stressed going into work but I immediately just wanted to become an even better teacher! I want to teach my students the things they need to know and critical thinking skills so the next generation leaves the world a better place.

Ok. This might be controversial. But I think it is morally problematic to change published authors’ works after they die to make their social attitudes more palatable. It’s covering up the truth and parts of history that, while nasty or wrong, need to be read. #books
