Socialism is ALL of us owning the Means of Production. No ruling class. No state control. Money abolished. Voluntary working. Free access to goods and services.

capitalist class exploiting working people by acquiring the means of production and distribution (natural resources, factories etc), then profiting by selling those working people goods and services they need — which those same working people actually provide in the first place!

If it’s unacceptable for “pernicious touts” to exploit people by acquiring tickets and then profiting by selling what they need, what about utilities doing the same with electricity, gas and water; or house builders; or landlords; food producers... In fact, what about the entire

We often get asked who will do ‘unpleasant’ jobs in a socialist society where all work is voluntary. Firstly, capitalism makes lots of work unpleasant. And in the highly unlikely event of a shortage of people happy to do certain jobs; robots, automation, AI etc could be used.

...just want a bigger slice of the cake, we want the bakery”. Yes, let’s just get rid of capitalism and run society on a for-need not a for-profit basis. A real socialist world — no bosses, no wage slaves, just people cooperating freely. ...

Merthyr, 25 October — Zarah Sultana says “we shouldn't just be talking about taxing the rich or nationalising a few utilities, but about replacing capitalism with socialism, a democratic economy under workers’ control organised for social need and ecological balance. We don’t...

Has @Nigel_Farage or @reformparty_uk praised LNER train employee Samir Zitouni, a Muslim born in Algeria, who unhesitatingly confronted a knife-wielding attacker and suffered life-threatening injuries to save passengers’ lives? Flag-waving racists have been gnashing their teeth.

We weren’t but someone else was. Who and why? Charlie Kirk said what he thought was correct, and speaking one’s mind, which may anger and enrage others, is no justification for murder. #RIPCharlieKirk

Of course “the system is rigged”. It’s capitalism! It can’t function without a profit-taking class of exploiters. But “taxing the very richest” just means ‘Your Party’ will tolerate a super rich (to milk them somewhat). To end poverty, greed etc don’t tax the rich — AXE the rich!
It's time for a new kind of political party - one that belongs to you. Sign up at https://t.co/0bhBHhWvVa.

Other parties support or tolerate capitalism. Other parties see capitalism as the best system. Other parties don’t want capitalism replaced without delay. Other parties think capitalism can be reformed to give a majority satisfactory enjoyable lives. We aren’t like other parties.

The fact is both right- and left-wing governments have been hostile to the working class struggle for “real change” in the past, and will do so in the future. Jeremy says “real change is coming”. We say only if the majority reject reformism and replace capitalism with socialism.

To prevent a capitalist economy getting into trouble, even left-wing governments will put the needs of the asset-owning class ahead of the working class. Look what Attlee’s Labour government did (see https://t.co/y5jHEXV8OO ), and this was when the economy was relatively healthy!
