There is another piece to the scope of public schools covering up all sorts of sexual crimes by staff: they always make sure to push out and punish the whistleblower much more harshly than the perpetrator - because the whistleblower is the real problem, right?
Parents - if you knew the scope of public schools covering up all sorts of crimes by staff, but especially those involving sexual crimes, you’d never send your child to school. The most common way is a quiet “resign in lieu of termination”. From there because the district no

Megyn literally said that she owes her podcast career to Ben, but then proceeded to fight him while defending Tucker. It WAS downright embarrassing. Kudos to Ben for not walking off the stage after that treatment by a supposed "friend."
Just watched Megyn Kelly's interview with Ben Shapiro, and as a woman, I have to say that Kelly's relentless attempt to run defense for her crazy friend's inexcusable behavior in response to Shapiro's clear and logical case against him was downright embarrassing.

More people need to back Ben Shapiro (in his fight against Fuentes and Tucker) and remember this famous poem: "First they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew...When they came for me, there was no one left to speak out."
I want to say -- unequivocally-- that I agree with everything Ben says here, unless there is something he said I can't remember, but nothing comes to mind. He is at his best here and I implore you to watch this if you think a) Fuentes is not evil and b) that Tucker can be

It's worth listening to scholars like Victor Davis Hanson when deciding on whether to back Tucker Carlson or Ben Shapiro. Hanson backs the truth, not just his friends. He calls out Tucker perfectly here.
This is what it means to have a moral backbone, @megynkelly! Like Kelly, Victor Davis Hanson has had a closer professional relationship with Tucker Carlson but nonetheless calls him out for his WWII revisionist history, isolationism, and anti-Israel lies and smears. I will link

Why does this keep happening in the same school district?
2nd @ScottsdaleUSD employee arrested in as many weeks for child sex crimes. Get Menzel out of there! https://t.co/YmM7VW6SZe

Yes, it's insane that many kids do NOT know how to read. This is what they're doing in classrooms: NOTHING. When I've asked some former middle school students why they weren't working in my English class, they said, "My teachers have always let me not work."
Insane that we have a system where kids can not learn how to read in kindergarten, get shuffled along to 1st/2nd/3rd grade anyway, and still NEVER LEARN HOW TO READ And everybody just keeps ... going along with it What are kids even doing in the classroom? How is this fine??

See my year-old warning about school-based health center programs mentioned below:
The failed Toronto schools experiment with school-based health center programs deserves more attention. Lots of kids prescribed with psychotropic meds, but ZERO academic improvements. It’s simply false that these programs facilitate learning at scale. Nice piece by @MegSBryce

Finally some common sense and bravery from students who are standing up for themselves. OK, adults, time to be as brave as the kids:
Kudos to the kids in this video for standing up for what is right. They are braver than many adults. Where were their parents and neighbors when said Councilwoman was approving this horrible policy? Why do Arizonans on the right simply react to a problem when powerful

Social media should be studied too (in addition to schools; see below) regarding how mental health awareness messages can make children/teens worse. Social media is causing many kids to "diagnose" themselves with "trendy" disorders such as ADHD, autism, and Tourette's.
📁 Oxford’s Lucy Foulkes New Paper: Mental health *awareness* campaigns, like those in schools, are NOT harmless: •Mental health awareness messages can “infect” people — they “catch” ideas about symptoms and diagnosis from peers, social media, or campaigns. •Epistemic bubbles

My observation, as a college English instructor with an MA & BA in English, is that most high schools are not having students read classics anymore. So when students encounter unfamiliar vocabulary, they zone out. I read more difficult passages than this one in the "old days."
If American high school students cannot comprehend the first chapter of Bleak House, we have an alarming educational crisis on our hands.

Bleak House is genuinely a masterpiece, probably Dickens' best book (although I have a personal soft spot for Great Expectations since I read it at a formative time in my life). The opening section in particular is an incredibly evocative depiction of nineteenth century London.

This article deciphers some of the manifesto, and states that most of it is in Russian (that's why we can't read most of it!): https://t.co/Q21K7DG9hS

@ObrienCynd72601 @truththerapist The video I’ve seen shows a near incomprehensible script. Somewhat suspicious anyone can decipher this. https://t.co/Gkk6eGTovk

This statement made by the trans shooter ("tired of being trans") is something I've heard from trans clients I've counseled. I always give them "permission" to stop being trans - this is all they need. They think they'll be judged for changing back. https://t.co/Dl4FbGHUSF

In a twisted handwritten journal he shared on YouTube before the massacre, Westman groaned about his long hair and his decision to transition.

This is from an article regarding the transgender shooter Robin Westman's manifesto. Contrary to what we're told, becoming trans is not a solution for depression - and if on estrogen therapy, that could worsen depression: The end of the second page reads, “I have wanted this for
