Could be cool for Cape Town and it's messy bus system, and clear areas that could benefit from trams. It's doable.
In the last 25 years, France has built 21 tramways. Avignon, Besanรงon, and Caen have tramways despite having fewer than 150,000 residents. In population terms, it is the equivalent of Lincoln, Winchester, and Carlisle all having tram systems.

I really dislike the new Apple Watch Workout app. It feels clunky and slow to get to the sport I want. Making many mistakes. Why change something that worked well?

France has a well functioning Digital ID (with driver's and other information available) Application. I'm so jealous about it. And now learning about the Brits being totally against an ID Number system is so odd.

I didn't know that the UK doesn't have an Identity Card/Identity Number system in place. Sounds like such a straight-forward common thing to have (as we do in South Africa and many African countries). Now the Brits are rejecting a Digital ID:

We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

Really depressed to read this, but I noticed something is not good with the palm trees in Mexico City: dying & sick. The article expalins that they are all dying due to a disease (fungus being easoly spread) and heatstress ๐ญ https://t.co/VTasTHxDzL

It's been 8 years since I was last in Mexico. A lot has happened since then - to me. But excited to see what has happened in this wonderful country over the next 5 weeks. I'm really ashamed how I've lost my Spanish ๐คช๐ it's been replaced by French.

Italy --and a few other Eurozone countries-- needs its own Bayrou to explain to Italians how government debt crushes the next generations.

I know we have 'Protected Tree Species' ( https://t.co/FSFEt1INvU) & 'Champion Trees', but there are other valuable, historical, and important trees that have stood for decades that need protection.

I would think that a tree, at least older than 100 years, deserves some protection. How would we get something like this into law @diontgeorge @alexlansdowne ?

South Africa is so concerned to protect old/heritage buildings (sometimes really to the detriment to healthy development & livability) by automatically protecting buildings older than 60 years. However, no such law exists for trees. ๐ฒ๐ณ Crazy

There's nothing worse to me than people wanting to cut down trees for nonsensical 'human' reasons. "it's ugly" "it makes parking difficult" "it messes my car". And that in 2025 people are so selfish to not consider a tree has been there longer than them.
